The curriculum followed in junior classes i.e Grade 1,2 & 3 is Xseed, which is based on NCERT guidelines, albeit with several innovations which are introduced after much research and study.
We encourage project based learning which gives our students a holistic view and allows them to apply knowledge and correlate various subjects to real life situations.
The subjects offered are English, Hindi, Mathematics, Environmental Studies and Information Technology for grade 1 & 2.
For grade 3 upwards we have English, Hindi, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science and Information Technology.
The methodology of delivery is unique which has been developed in consultation with leading experts. Lessons are planned so that students get to learn their subjects in a practical manner with a plethora of projects and activities.

The Academic Curriculum in Secondary classes at GIIS aims at a holistic development of every child. It facilitates development of skills that emphasize daily living skills, community skills, recreation and leisure, and employment. Students follow the regular curriculum, but emphasis is placed on the above mentioned skills that are the most desirable.

The curriculum followed in Secondary classes is according to CBSE guidelines and NCERT curriculum.

Integrated studies, sometimes called interdisciplinary studies, brings together diverse disciplines in a comprehensive manner, enabling students to develop a meaningful understanding of the complex associations and influences within a topic. This endeavour involves extensive research and enhances the creativity , innovation, time management skills and social skills of the students.

Activity based learning: Every topic in all subjects is reinforced with research based , skill based or hands-on activities.

Use of ICT: The class room learning experiences are supported by audio visual aids like Powerpoint presentations,  Audio /Video clippings etc.

Google classroom: Notes and assignments are regularly uploaded on google class room for students, as a revision exercise.

Sports options: Sports options offered are  Foot ball , Basket ball , cricket , archery , Badminton and Volley ball.

Hobby clubs: Every week students of class VI to VIII attend Hobby clubs according to their interests. The hobby clubs offered are MUN club, Public  speaking, Dance , Music – Vocal and instrumental , Cooking without fire , Art, IT , Reading , 3D Printing , Chess , Dramatics etc.

House activity: House meetings and inter house activities are held weekly to promote the spirit of team work and coordination among the students.

DA: Detail Assessment – online diagnostic tests in Science , Math and English, are held after regular intervals throughout the session.
