Global Indian International School, Chinchwad believes in creating a platform where all the members of the GIIS family; students, teachers, staff and parent come together for a gala time. The annual carnival of the school- Fiesta Fantasia which also marks the conclusion of the Inter School Youth Fest- Mélange was held on Saturday, February 10. This carnival proved to be an awesome time of bonding for parents and the school amidst good food, games and lots of fun.

Over 75 stalls were put up in the campus catering to the taste buds and entertainment for a crowd of over, 3500 people who spent quality time together. Young children were seeing enjoying a plethora of games like Lucky Dip, Ring-a-ring, Bucket the coin, Car race, Nine pins, Number game, Nervous wreck, Tongue twister, Drop a dice and many more. Little ones also enjoyed a life size game of Snakes & Ladders and were cheered by their parents. Youngsters also enjoyed the flash mob and grooved to the latest dance numbers. The biggest show stealer for the parents was a game of Housie which was enjoyed by the small children their parents and their grandparents alike.

After working an appetite post the playing of various games, the crowd was seeing heading towards the food stalls to treat their taste buds with lip smacking chaats, cheesy pizzas, refreshing mojitos and cold coffees, scrumptious cakes and custard, hot and spicy pav bhaji with the highlight being the favorite counter of Dominos Pizza.  Families were seen to have a good time over food. The entire event was conducted seamlessly by the team of GIIS and was appreciated by all.

“This is one event that I look forward to every year. The fun fare that is done at GIIS Chinchwad is a big celebration. The excitement that I see in my kids is contagious and we have a great time together playing games and relishing food. I would like to congratulate and say a big thank you to the school for giving us a good time together”, said a parent.
