To compile the EW India School Rankings 2017, a sample size of almost 10,000 knowledgeable parents, educationists, principals, teachers and students were interviewed in 28 cities by field researchers of the Delhi based C fore and asked to rate schools on 14 parameters of education excellence.
The School received a total score of 1140/1500 under the 14 parameters of educational excellence like Academic reputation, Co-curricular education, Sports education, Leadership/management quality, Infrastructure provision, Internationalism, Special needs education, Life skills education, Individual attention to students, Competence of faculty, Teacher welfare and development, Community service and Value for money.
The honor was received by the Director Principal Dr Amrita Vohra and Sugandha Khandelwal- Head Communications & Marketing in a grand function at The Leela, Gurgaon on September 22 and 23, 2017. Director Principal Dr Vohra said, “Achieving the position of 2nd best School of the city is a testimony to the hard work and sincerity put in by the entire GIIS Chinchwad Fraternity.
