Lead it…like you mean it!!!

Global Indian International School strongly professes “Leadership” as an important and imperative skill of the 21st century. We also believe that leadership is best developed when imbibed from the foundation years and hence the school observes the Investiture Ceremony as a platform of nurturing the future leaders. The student senate for the year 2017-18 was inducted on April 28, 2017 where they solemnly took the oath to keep the flag of the school flying high. The 7th Investiture Ceremony witnessed a 76 member student senate being conferred with their badge of honor.

The ceremony began with invocation and the lamp lighting ceremony to seek the blessings of the almighty. A song rendition by the School choir added melodiously to the entire event and the tunes reverberated in the air. The semi-classical dance performance by our students mesmerized the audience and embellished the ceremony with beauty, grace and poise. The Chief Guest for the ceremony was Mr Prashant Jagtap, ex- Mayor of Pune city and also the youngest to receive this honor. It was also a delight to have Ms Varsha Seshan, author as the Guest of Honor for the ceremony. While addressing the gathering, Shri Jagtap congratulated the school for identifying the leaders and giving them a chance to exercise their duties and responsibilities efficiently. “You have been give a gift of responsibility and wings of
