Yashaswi; a platform to enhance the latent talents of the students and become achievers in various walks of life was celebrated at Hotel Orchid VITS on Saturday, July 2016. Yashaswi celebrates the attitude of winning and achievement of the first milestone into the global world.

The Class X Batch of 2016 has added a feather in the cap for Global Indian International School (GIIS) Chinchwad campus by achieving academic excellence in CBSE examinations. Today, the school stands tall with pride, showcasing outstanding Class X results of 40 % students receiving a perfect score of CGPA 10 and the entire batch qualifying with 100% distinction.

Chief Guest for the event was renowned Diabetologist Dr. Anand Gokhani. He is the Trustee of Bombay Medical Aid Foundation and conducts workshops and youth camps on stress management, Diabetes in all its forms. Alternative Medicine, Nature Cure. He encouraged the students to challenge their boundaries and focus towards attaining newer heights.

Mr. Rajeev Katyal, Country Director GIIS India in the capacity of the Guest Honour in his congratulatory message said that innovation and entrepreneurship were the key ingredients to success and was positive that students are shaping up for global citizenship.

The programme was also graced by Ms. Vaishali Borde -National Head Co- Scholastics and Early Years and Ms. Aditi Chakraborty- Head Marketing from GIIS India.
