We love blue. We love blue.
Yes, we do. Yes, we do.
We love the ocean and sky so blue.
We love blue ribbons and blue jeans, too.
We love blueberries, so good for you.
We love blue, yes we do.
Objective – To make children identify Blue colour
Colour and shape are ways children observe and categorize what they see. These are two very noticeable attributes of the world around us. When children look out of the window, the first things that their young mind notices and identifies are the green trees, white buildings, blue sky, square windows… These very recognizable characteristics encourage children to define and organize the diverse world around them.
The children of Grade Nursery Sections A, B, C, D started their journey of learning colours by celebrating ‘Blue Colour Day’ on June 19, 2015. Colours add vibrancy to life! The children learned the colour blue in a fun and unique way. Socks made of ‘bubble wraps’ were ready for the children for the class activity. The children put on the socks and were raring to go! They dipped their tiny feet in blue paint and embossed their footprints across flex boards. The children utterly enjoyed the activity! The footprints left an indelible impression of the colour Blue’ on the minds of these young buds!
